Alix R. Rubin, Esq.

Alix graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. degree in English and French from Tufts University. She earned a Master of Journalism degree from Temple University and worked as a public relations practitioner and journalist before earning a J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Alix is admitted to the bar in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

Alix began her career in private practice as a general litigator. She was a litigation associate at two major northern New Jersey firms for eight years and a partner at the New Jersey office of a small New York firm for five years. As an employment lawyer, Alix proactively counseled businesses in best employment practices and helped employers and employees favorably resolve disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, whistleblower and non-compete claims. She appeared in federal and state courts as well as before administrative agencies, mediators and arbitrators. Alix also counseled employers on downsizings and creating and implementing nondiscrimination and anti-harassment policies through employee handbooks and training, and negotiated employment and severance agreements on behalf of high-level executives and professionals.

Alix serves on the boards of Volunteer Lawyers for Justice, Inc. and the Wharton Alumni Club of New Jersey.
