Kim Altschuler
Kim graduated with honors from Penn State University with a B.A. in International Politics and a minor in History and earned her J.D. from Temple University.
Since graduating law school, Kim has exclusively practiced labor and employment law for more than two decades in both the public and private sectors. Kim spent many of her years in the public sector working for the U.S. Department of Labor as an Attorney-Advisor, where she counseled parties on a variety of labor and administrative laws including whistleblower protection, occupational health and safety, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. She also worked at the National Labor Relations Board as a Field Attorney, where she Investigated and litigated labor disputes arising under the National Labor Relations Act.
Kim transitioned to private practice and worked for large law firms in New York City and Philadelphia. While in private practice, Kim counseled employers on legal compliance with state and federal employment and labor laws and handled all facets of litigation in court and before administrative agencies. Kim also has extensive experience investigating claims of workplace misconduct, counseling, employers on diversity initiatives and creating training programs related to discrimination, harassment, labor relations diversity, and ethics.
